As of March 2023, we now have fully functioning floodlights for the Sports Hall and upgraded and efficient electrics. Work will commence on further repairs on the roof and we have plans to reseal the sports hall floor to ensure that the tramlines are refreshed and any loose or damaged boards, are secured or replaced.
Involving members aged between 11 and 16, we have partnered up with St Luke's to put on a joint programme focusing on the discussion of important topics related to young people. The group started in February 2023 and is already seeing growth as people are inviting their friends to join weekly. In one session, the young people discussed ‘Drill music’ and the impact it has on their community. They were very happy to discuss a topic like this as it’s not likely to happen in a school setting.
